About Me


My name is David Palomas and I believe that Education is key to unlocking the future. My goal is to be part of a team where I can contribute to the formation of the next generation of scientists and make Science and Engineering more accessible and inclusive. A prolific career as an educator and researcher has provided me with the relevant experience to achieve this goal:

  • 7+ years working in Higher Education. Highly experienced in the use of Virtual Learning Environments, preparation of educational materials, lectures, seminars, workshops, practical labs and outreach activities.
  • Scientist with 15+ years of experience leading and managing research projects in synthesis and catalysis resulting in 10 co-authored publications and 4 grants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific concepts as evidenced by 7+ years of teaching and mentoring, and 10+ national and international conference presentations.
